Binsar

Binsar was the erstwhile summer capital of the Chand Dynasty rulers, who ruled Kumaon from the 7th to 18th century AD. Situated at the height of 2,420 m, the sleepy and picturesque hamlet is one of the most scenic locations in the Kumaon hills. Due to its location, it offers spellbinding views of the majestic Himalayan peaks such as Chaukhamba, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Shivling and Panchachuli. Locals say Binsar was named after the Bineshwar Mahadev temple, a 16th century temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Day 1- Arrival at Binsar

Departure from Chennai airport. Arrival at Binsar, Check-in to the hotel and take some rest there. You can visit or explore the nearby area and the beauty of the place. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Binsar.

Day 2- Binsar Sightseeing

After breakfast, head out of the hotel to explore the beautiful place of Binsar. Go for Binsar sightseeing and explore many places to see in Binsar like:- Binsar wildlife sanctuary (nominal entry charges required), which is a home of 200 species of bird, barking deer, Himalayan bear leopard fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, etc. then visit binsar zero point, enjoy the magnificent Himalayan Range. After that visit Bineshwar temple, kasar Devi temple. Return to your hotel, Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Binsar.

Day 3- Departure

Morning breakfast and then checkout from Hotel. Finally drop at Binsar airport for your onward journey.
