Bhubaneswar is an ancient city in India’s eastern state of Odisha, formerly Orissa. Many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city, including the 11th-century Hindu Lingaraja Temple. Outside Rajarani Temple are sculpted figures of the guardians of the 8 cardinal and ordinal directions. Jain antiques, weaponry and indigenous pattachitra paintings fill the Odisha State Museum.
Day 1- Arrival at Bhubaneswar
Departure from Chennai airport. On arrival Bhubaneswar airport. Then transfer to hotel. Later half day sightseeing of tribal museum, Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain caves(Oldest rock cut caves). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 2- Bhubaneswar - Konark - Puri
Drive to Puri in the morning after breakfast. Along the way, stop at the Black Pagoda at Konark Sun Temple, the Buddhist Stupa/Peace Pagoda in Dhauli, and the Applique Work Village in Pipli. After that, travel to Puri and register at the hotel. Visit the Lord Jagannath Temple in the evening (non-Hindus are not permitted) or unwind on Puri's golden beach. Spend the night at Puri.
Day 3- Puri - Chilika - Gopalpur
Take a morning trip to Barkul's Chilika Lake, the largest Ramsar site in Asia and a haven for migratory birds who travel great distances. Visit the Birds Island by boat excursion. After that, go to Goplapur and register at the hotel. Stay the night in Gopalpur.
Day 4- Gopalpur - Jaugad - Gopalpur + Olive Ridley
Visiting Pati Sonpur Beach in the morning after breakfast. Go return to the hotel. With a packed dinner, travel by automobile later in the evening to the Turtles viewing area near the Rushikulya River. Return to the hotel at night and make your daily bed. Stay the night in Gopalpur.
Day 5- Gopalpur - Bhubaneswar
Drive back to Bhubaneswar in the morning after breakfast, then check into the hotel. A later half-day tour includes stops at Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar (one of Bhubaneswar's most famous temples, built in a style akin to that of the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture, dubbed the Gem of Orissan architecture), and Rajarani temple. Spend the night in Bhubaneswar.
Day 6- Departure
Morning having breakfast and then check out from hotel. Finally drop at Bhubaneswar airport.
