Thekkady
Thekkady is a town near Periyar National Park, an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India. The name Thekkady is derived from the word "thekku" which means teak. Temperatures are lowest in the months of December–January and highest in the months of April–May.
Idukki
Idukki district is a densely forested, mountainous region in the south Indian state of Kerala. In the north, Anamudi mountain towers over Eravikulam National Park, where the rare, blue Neelakurinji flower blooms every 12 years. Nearby, Munnar is a hill station known for its sprawling tea plantations and Tea Museum.
Day 1- Thekkady Sightseeing
Morning pickup from Dindigul. *Then proceed towards Thekkady. *To visit Veerapandi Gowmariamman Temple and River. *On the way to visit Penniquick Memorial Hall. *After fresh up and experiencing an excellent boating in Thekkady Lake. *At evening, we can see Kerala cultural art forms such as kathakali and Kalari. *Overnight stay @ Hotel – Thekkady.
Day 2- Thekkady to Idukki
*After Breakfast and then check out from the Hotel. *Proceed to visit Elephant Ride, Spice Garden,Rose Park.. *Then proceed towards Idukki. *To visit Hill-view Park, Idukki Arch Dam. *Overnight stay @ Hotel – Idukki.
Day 3- Idukki Sightseeing
After Breakfast and then check out from the Hotel. *Proceed to visit Calvary Mount, Painavu, Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill View Park, Ilaveezha Poonchira. *Then proceed towards Dindigul. *Finally drop @ Dindigul Railway Junction.
